Is there any wood more beautiful than Cocobolo Rosewood? OK, you should definitely NOT ask me that question since I could undoubtedly talk your ear off about the munificent qualtities of Dalbergia retusa, (and I've got that memorized): Cocobolo Rosewood. I created a very elegant design from this beautifully striped piece, which has wonderful color gradation and exquisite grain lines. I added a small band of Peruvian Walnut, then finished off with a fine topping of pitch Ebony. Incredibly smooth and delightful to hold! Size 7 (4.5 mm), eight and one-half inches long. Heirloom quality.
