This barrette is No. 1 in my Raindrops series of barrettes -- so named because the carvings I make look like raindrops falling into the still surface of a pond and making concentric ripples. Made from one of my special custom colors, "Arctic Light" Dyed Hardwood reminds me of the grand celestium, the skies filled with stars, aurorae rippling in ribbons of light, and the perfect circle of the moon and planets overhead. Total length of the barrette is about three and three-quarter inches, height is just over one and one-quarter inches. Curved for comfort: heirloom quality. This barrette is engraved on the back with my signature/artist's mark.
