Roses bloom in the garden, reds and pinks and peaches and purples. Butterflies flutter from bud to bud, petal to petal, alighting on yellow centers. Sunlight caresses each smooth leaf, bringing life to verdant greenery; flowers burgeon at the sight!

My very own rose garden inspired this hook -- I began with emerald-green "Jadewood" Dyed Hardwood, a representative color of the vibrant greenery that has sprung up all over the place with the falling of rain. I hand-carved a design of 5-petalled flowers on vines which wrap all the way around the hook. I then painted the flowers in metallic pinks, the vines in golden-green, and added gold dots here and there to give extra sparkle!

This piece is engraved with my signature/artist's mark. Size I (5.5 mm), eight inches long. Heirloom quality.
