I call this man-made material "Bronze & Purple Shimmer" because of the gorgeous swirling streaks of bronze and deep purple. Coppery glittery bits shimmer from within, making this piece absolutely STUNNING! This nifty holder is lined with nickel-plated brass, and will easily accommodate sewing, embroidery, or yarn needles, toothpicks, or even small beads. Personally, I use one of mine as a small pill box. Comes with an attachable key ring, or can be used as a necklace or on a chatelaine. Total length is three and one-eighth inches. Heirloom quality.
