Materials: Lyptus, Turquoise Gemstones, 24k Gold Plated Findings
This fantastically fun Needle Case/Toothpick Holder is fashionable with a modern flair. I turned the case from peachy Lyptus wood, then hand-carved several dots around the piece. I then hand-inlaid Turquoise gemstones into each of the circles, creating "dots." This is an extremely time-consuming process, but I think the final piece is well worth the effort!
Findings plated in 24k gold, this nifty holder is lined with nickel-plated brass, and will easily accommodate sewing, embroidery, or yarn needles, toothpicks, or even small beads. Personally, I use one of mine as a small pill box. Comes with an attachable keyring, or can be used as a necklace or on a chatelaine. This (like all of my other Art Tools) is one of a kind piece. Total length is three and one-eighth inches long. Heirloom quality.
