I love to use unusual and striking materials to create my needle/toothpick cases. I use banksia pods, acrylics, dyed and/or exotic wood species, plus inlays of turquoise, chrysocolla, pipestone, and more! These make incredible gifts -- they are functional, durable, and very elegant.
Findings may be plated in either 24k Gold or Chrome. These holders are lined with nickel-plated brass, and will easily accommodate sewing, embroidery, or yarn needles, toothpicks, or even small beads. Personally, I use one of mine as a small pill box. Comes with an attachable keyring, or can be used as a necklace or on a chatelaine. The length is about three and one-eighth inches, (measured without keyring). Inside dimensions: the diameter of the opening is a little over 8mm, (about 1/4"), and the internal length is 2 3/4".
