Precise woodturning technique and developing fine form are the cornerstones of my teaching philosophy; there is nothing more satisfying than being able to turn a beautiful form with gorgeous lines! Students of every skill level will received personalized attention to address their specific needs.

During each workshop I cover safety, use of tools, sharpening and grinding, sanding and finishing, as well as the projects students would like to turn. (Some suggested topics: bowls, platters, boxes, goblets, hollow forms, spindlework). Tips and demonstrations of embellishment techniques such as gilding, dyeing, pyrography, painting, inlay, and adding mixed media are also available.
